I did it!
One of the things on my bucket list was a roadtrip across the USA.
WOW – what an adventure! We travelled from San Fran to Napa and down to LA, Then across to Austin continuing onto Bandera, then to New orleans, Panama City eventually ending in St. Petersburg.
I learned so much on this journey that has enriched my soul. I have learned that one has to have patience, grace, gratitude and above adventure. Sometimes it is difficult to travel with others but it is no different than working with colleagues on a daily basis. We sometimes have to dig deep and enjoy every single process. It is a gift.
The trip ended up being way beyond my expectations, driving down the wrong way in Austin, Seeing a streaker on Venice beach, A shooting on New Orleans amongst meeting some incredible people and laughing till I though my heart was going to explode.
I tell this story because as I reflect on this year and remember those who haven’t made it, we cannot wait to do what is on our bucket lists. The time is now. Live life to your fullest today, right now!
